On September 9, at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, Apple released the new version of its flagship iPhone line, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Staying true to its naming conventions, the new phones look the same as the 6 and 6 Plus respectively, but have faster processors and higher camera specs, and are now offered in a new Rose Gold Color.
Apple also released the iPad Pro, a larger, faster version of the iPad air, with a 12.9 inch display and added features such as touch ID and smart connectors. These smart connectors can be used to connect to the Apple Smart Keyboard created specifically for this product. Also bundled with the product is the new Apple Pencil, a stylus that contains sensors for pressure and angle, allowing fine-depth control over drawing and writing tasks on the iPad.
After a 5 year hiatus, Apple finally released a revamped version of the Apple TV, which now comes with a new interface that supports Siri and a remote with touchpad tracking similar to an iPhone screen.
The release date for the two iPhone products has been set for 9/25, with pre-order starting next Saturday, September 12. The exact date for release of the iPad Pro and the Apple TV is unknown, but is expected to go on sale in November.
