George Lucas came under fire after claiming that selling Disney the rights to Star Wars was like selling his daughter to “white slavers”. The film, released on Dec. 17, has grossed over $1 billion worldwide surpassing ‘Titanic’ at the box office to become the second highest-grossing movie of all-time domestically.

Reports surfaced on Jan. 1 that an Al-Qaeda affiliate used a video of Donald Trump talking about his plan to ban Muslims from entering the country as a way to recruit members. Trump responded to the video by claiming it was the highest-rated terror video ever.
